This sweet, little guy made his debut on Mother's Day - what a perfect gift for his mom (and dad too)! I met with them when he was 8 days old and the session couldn't have been any better. He slept when I needed him to sleep and was generally calm during the time I spent at their house. I love his full head of hair! Congrats to the new mom and dad....you have quite a cutie!

Well, you may have seen this family on the blog last year when mom, Trisha, was pregnant with baby #2. That little guy is now 8 months old and so adorably cute (along with his big brother)! Where does the time go? Trisha's oldest boy is only 6 days younger than mine and we've so enjoyed getting together over the past 2+ years and watching our sons grow and play together. Their newest sweet boy is only 2 months older than my twins, so once again, we get to watch the little ones grow. Though we have plenty to chat about, our conversations when we get together are less than plentiful as you can imagine chasing 2 all boy toddlers and 3 babies around can be distracting! Anyway, I just loved getting another opportunity to photograph this sweet family...and it was easy too...just look at them! :)

I met with this sweet pea and her parents on Saturday for a newborn session. At 3 weeks old, she spent a lot of the session alert and looking around. Can't blame her...there's so many new things for her to take in! I think we wore her out with all of the family pictures so she fell into a deep sleep toward the end of my time there and I was able to get her posed for a few pictures. Congratulations on your little one, W family!

I met with this adorable family last week and their session reminded me of two things: 1) the world, as big as it is, is actually pretty small and 2) time sure does fly. See, I met this couple in Singapore...yes, the other side of the world! ...and it was long before I was into photography. I say the world is small because not only did I meet them in Singapore,  but they ended up living in a house less than 5 minutes from ours back here in TX. And well, time flies because I met them in February of 2010 before I was even pregnant with my first baby and now look at us...3 kids for me and their little man is turning 1 this week. How did that all happen so quickly? Anyway, I don't even have to say that their sweet boy, Caleb, is so darn cute. I mean, look at his pictures! They speak for themselves. We met just after 6 p.m. and this little guy didn't fuss once. I was impressed since it seems my children start falling apart by 4 every afternoon :) I had such fun watching Caleb taste cake for the first time. I mean, he REALLY tasted it and Mom and Dad were good sports about it! I can't wait to keep watching this cutie grow up!

Babies Colby and Clara made their debut just over a week ago on April 5th. These two sweet babies were wanted and prayed for for quite some time which makes their arrival just that much sweeter. To say they are loved would be an understatement! Having been in the same position 5 months ago, I know mom and dad are hardly getting any sleep...but I know every second of lost sleep is worth it to them. I didn't hear them complain once! They are such a beautiful family of FOUR now and I was honored to spend a few hours with them last week. Congratulations Joiner family!

We met early Saturday morning for this session, but this big boy (he just turned 1) certainly didn't mind...he gave me plenty of smiles! There's something about toddler boys in overalls that I just love and this outfit was no exception. Things moved quickly as most of my sessions chasing 1 year olds do, but toward the end of the session, little man started to get a little tired and was content to just rest his head on daddy's shoulder. I love those moments! Happy Birthday CJ ...you were such fun to hangout with!

There was such an obvious bond between this beautiful mom and her sweet girls. They laughed and loved so freely the entire time and had me hoping for such a close relationship with my own daughter when she's old enough. My favorite part of the whole session was when I asked mom if she wanted a couple of shots of just her after I did individual shots of her daughters. She was hesitant at first until both girls told her how beautiful she is and encouraged her to let me take a few pictures of her alone. Seriously, such sweet daughters! So needless to say, I really enjoyed my time with these ladies and hope to see them again one day!
